Volunteers needed to become a Friendly Visitor for a lonely LGBT senior in Alameda County. Spend 1-2 hours a week visiting with the senior and enjoy good conversation, laughter, board games, a shared hobby - or go out to lunch, shopping, or appointments. Choose a mutually agreeable day and time. Friendly Visitor program is part of Lavender Seniors of the East Bay (lavenderseniors.org).
