Sprouts After School Cooking Class Assistant Volunteer!

Sprouts is looking for an enthusiastic, culinary or nutritional enthusiast to help our Sprouts Chef Instructors lead a 90-minute afternoon cooking class for Oakland kids! This class is a ton of fun, and the kids are always jazzed to learn new recipes and taste new ingredients! Most classes run between 2:00-5:00pm. No formal cooking experience is required - just a love for working with kids and trying new recipes! A minimal amount of pre-class prep may be required. We focus on simple, delicious and nutritious recipes that allow plenty of room for our aspiring chefs to add their own creative twist! At the end of each class, every child will enjoy the recipe that they made and, if you're lucky, have some to take home to share! All skill levels welcome!
