ORGANIZATION: The Parent Child Center of Tulsa

THis is a great opportunity for a commited person to have a meaningful volunteer experience assisting parents and children in group setting at The Tulsa County Emergency Shelter. Volunteers need to be able to commit to Tuesday evening from 5:30- 7:30 pm. Drug screen and background check required. Staff will guide the acitivities and volunteers will assist. Volunteers should be able to complete application, screens and enjoy children and parents. This would involve families that have become homeless and are staying in the shelter and attending programs designed to help them transition back to their own living situation when safe to do so.

Volunteers may be needed to update bulletin board, hang children's artwork and help prepare folders for families.

Must be 18 or older.
