If you're passionate about aquatic life, and you love to learn, teach and inspire, you'll be a great volunteer!
We're currently recruiting for weekday Guest Engagement volunteers to help lead Behind the Scenes Tours and facilitate Penguin Encounters. Both roles provide the opportunity to interact with Shedd guests and create meaningful connections.
Note: There is no animal contact involved in these roles.
Tour and Encounter volunteers must be comfortable with public speaking and presenting to groups of up to 15 people. These volunteers will also need to complete an audition to be selected for the roles.
If selected to participate, mandatory trainings will be held on Saturdays May 20th and 21st, both days from 9am-4pm. Apply now for the chance to join the upcoming training class.
