Premier Hospice & Palliative Care is defining quality care at the end of life and is in need of volunteers to provide companionship and socialization to clients. Volunteers will assist with completing life stories, provide emotional support. assist with med preparation and assist with errands. Hospice volunteers provide friendship to individuals who may not have anyone with them as they finish their journey.
Free training is provided online and volunteers will be asked to attended a couple online training sessions a year. Please contact Tyler Tieche, Volunteer Coordinator at 812.530.7153 or Tyler.Tieche@premierhospice.com for more information on becoming a hospice & palliative care volunteer.

Description
The Jackson County United Way Volunteer Action Center was created in November of 2010 to connect the volunteers of Jackson County to the agencies who are in need of their skills and services.
