Pet Resource Center is in need of volunteer veterinarians for a variety of duties such as in-home consulting, mass spay/neuter clinics, mobile vaccination clinics, answering questions at events, and to teach continuing education courses.
Pet Resource Center of Kansas City hosts "mobile" off-site vaccination clinics in local areas of our community on a monthly basis. Our organization takes preventative pet health tools to the areas of our community that need it the most. We offer rabies, DA2PP, Bordetella, de-wormer, FVRCP, KCMO City Licenses (when applicable) and microchips at these clinics for owned cats and dogs. We also share knowledge of services and programs offered at our location as well as schedule low-cost spay/neuter appointments for those in need. Veterinarians are needed throughout the month to administer vaccinations at these clinics with the help of 1-2 vet techs and a team of staff and volunteer mobile clinic assistants.
Mass spay/neuter clinics are held twice a month and continuing education classes are held monthly. Most of the opportunities are available occur on Saturdays and occasionally mid-day during the week.
Commitment is flexible.
Veterinarians must be currently licensed in Missouri and/or Kansas.
