Special event volunteers staff a wide variety of events held at the Zoo and Aquarium throughout the year. They provide hospitality and information, staff games and activities for children and may assist with set-up or preparation work. This position requires flexibility, enthusiasm and a love of people.

You’ll enjoy being part of the behind-the-scenes work while making a real contribution by spreading our conservation message, helping care for our animal and plant collections, and educating visitors of all ages. Volunteers are valued members of the Zoo and Aquarium team, generously contributing over 40,000 service hours each year!
