The Thomas Square Birthday Party Coordinator will be responsible for planning and leading a monthly birthday party for the residents of Thomas Square Apartments, a housing site for low-income seniors, to celebrate the residents who had a birthday within that month. Specific responsibilities for the Thomas Square Birthday Party Coordinator includes catering the food, serving the food, spending time talking/engaging with residents, setting up and cleaning up.

We are hoping the volunteer can provide a birthday cake to feed about 15 seniors. This is an opportunity to engage with residents in a fun and relaxed environment. Volunteering in this capacity show the residents that they are appreciated and gives them an opportunity to socialize and interact with each other and members of the community, improving their overall quality of life.
