ORGANIZATION: Volunteers of America Texas

The Park Meadows Exercise Program Leader will be responsible for planning and leading low-impact/age-appropriate exercise sessions for the residents of Park Meadows Apartments, a housing site for low-income seniors.

This is an opportunity to interact with residents in a fun and relaxed environment. We are looking for a volunteer to lead our seniors in a light aerobics class. We are expecting no more than 15 clients to attend each session. From using light weights, to an exercise video designated for seniors, or chair aerobics- all are permitted.Volunteering in this capacity will help residents stay active and improve their physical and mental health and in turn their overall quality of life.
