The La Jolla Community Center is looking for Fitness & Wellness Instructors to teach classes to active adults and seniors. Whether you teach Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Zumba, or any other fitness class we would love to hear from you.
Due to the current situation all of our classes have transitioned to online Zoom classes. We would like to continue to add classes to our schedule to keep seniors active, healthy, and social.
We are happy to work with your schedule.

Description
The La Jolla Community Center offers a wide variety of programs: yoga, jazzercise, computing, literature and the arts, languages, bridge, and more. Located on La Jolla Boulevard near Wind’n'Sea Beach, the facility includes several activities rooms, and a commercial-sized kitchen. In addition to formal classes, the La Jolla Community can also be used as a venue for meetings and events.
The La Jolla Community Center is managed by the Friends of the Riford Center, a community-based 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2007, under a lease from the City of San Diego (the owners of the facility). The Friends Board of Directors is responsible for strategic oversight of the La Jolla Community Center activities and operations. Much of the work at the La Jolla Community is undertaken by volunteers.
