ORGANIZATION: The Salvation Army San Diego Regional Office

Support The Salvation Army Centre City Corps Community Center by translating Russian for a small group of seniors at our downtown location!


Qualifications and requirements for this position:

  • Must be able to commit to one hour a week from 2-3 pm on Fridays, for three months or more
  • Must be fluent in Russian and English
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate
  • Have strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and participants
  • Prior translating experience NOT required

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Translate for assigned class for a minimum of a three month period
