Support The Salvation Army Centre City Corps Community Center by translating Russian for a small group of seniors at our downtown location!
Qualifications and requirements for this position:
- Must be able to commit to one hour a week from 2-3 pm on Fridays, for three months or more
- Must be fluent in Russian and English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate
- Have strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse staff and participants
- Prior translating experience NOT required
Duties and responsibilities:
- Translate for assigned class for a minimum of a three month period
