Volunteer for the annual Land & River Revel celebration! This year, the event will be held at Smithfield Plantation. We'll have live music with RYZ, historic tours, a cider press, bird and old tree walk, activities for kids and a silent auction. There will be beer and wine for sale and food from Till & Grill food truck. In exchange for a 2 hour shift volunteering, you'll get free admission (normally $10 per person). Come out, have fun, and spend a little of the time helping out with a fundraiser for a great cause. We'll need help with parking, ticket sales, id check, beer & wine sales, set up and clean up.

Conserving farmland, forests, open spaces, and historic places in the New River region since 2002.
Description
The New River Land Trust educates landowners and other stakeholders in Virginia about voluntarily donating conservation easements on their land, as well as other conservation programming, including youth education. Our focus is on the New River region. We also work with partners, including local governments, on larger land policy issues. Since 2002, we have conserved more than 49,000 acres and over 25 miles of New River frontage.
