Our Client Food Program volunteers organize and create nutritional food bags to be distributed to our clients. This opportunity includes organizing the bags, maintaining a food sign-in sheet, and distributing the bags to clients every Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Create and organize food bags for clients
- Distribute food bags to clients
- Maintain food tracking/signin sheet
Qualifications:
- Must be 18
- Able to use Microsoft excel at a basic level
Commitment: 8:30am-12:30pm every Thursday. (This is a weekly, long-term commitment).
Training: All PCAF volunteers must attend New Volunteer Orientation and complete a criminal history background check.
Benefits: Volunteers will gain knowledge about HIV/AIDS and the services PCAF offers to our clients. They will also receive satisfaction from understanding that their efforts directly help clients access nutritional food.

PCAF, through education and service, prevents HIV infection, assists persons affected by HIV/AIDS, addresses related health problems, and combats associated stigma and discrimination.
Description
PCAF is a non-profit organization established in 1987 to respond to the needs of persons living with HIV/AIDS. In 2012 PCAF expanded its services by establishing a second office in Olympia, Washington. Today, PCAF serves Pierce, Thurston, and Lewis Counties.
PCAF is dedicated to assisting persons living with HIV/AIDS to meet their needs for food, housing, healthcare and personal support. PCAF provides personalized case management services to people living with HIV/AIDS and extensive outreach/education/prevention programming to help stop the spread of HIV and combat HIV related stigma.
