We invite community members to volunteer in a classroom for one hour each week during the school year at one of the 20 elementary schools. This is a significant commitment, but your time and effort will make a difference. Our schools are already seeing results, and Read to Succeed is a part of improving student achievement. Our three local school corporations have reported increase in the number of students who passed the IREAD-3 test, which is Indiana's state assessment of reading ability in third grade, improved attendance as well as less disciplinary issues since the inception in 2011. *Volunteers MUST pass a background check and be over the age of 18.
