ORGANIZATION: United Way of Greater Cincinnati

Each year United Way mobilizes thousands of donors, advocates, and volunteers to help make our community a better place to live and work. Help us gear up for a successful annual campaign by sorting, packing and tracking our fundraising materials to prepare them for distribution. This role requires a mix of physical tasks such as lifting and moving items, and basic computer skills to enter item information into a database. Available hours are Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM. A staff member is on the premises during work hours. Volunteers can help anywhere from one 4 hour shift, to 30+ hours per week until October.

United Way of Greater Cincinnati was founded in 1915. The annual fundraising campaign became a partnership with American Red Cross, Cincinnati Area Chapter, in 1956. Today the organization covers ten counties: Hamilton, Brown, Butler and Clermont in Ohio; Boone, Campbell, Grant, and Kenton in Northern Kentucky; and Dearborn and Ohio counties in Southeast Indiana.
