About

The U14 teams at Soccer Without Borders compete in a seasonal soccer league in Middlesex County. These games in the fall and spring provide youth a wonderful opportunity to further develop skills learned at practice and grow as a team. The league participation also reinforces the positive program culture of SWB as youth who attend consistently and follow the rules (Try Everything, Have Fun, Be Respectful) are chosen to participate on the team.

In the fall 2015 the U14 boys and U14 girls will each participate in a 10-week season. Half of the games will be played at home in East Boston, and the othe half away in different towns of Middlesex County. Youth and their families lack access to transportation to these games, so volunteers are needed to help with transport! As a volunteer driver you will meet the team and coaching group in East Boston, meet the kids and coach you are driving, travel to the game, watch and help coach (if you're interested) during the game, and then return to East Boston afterwards.

All drivers will undergo a background check, including driving history before beginning to volunteer. Games are on Saturday mornings and early afternoons. The exact schedule will not be released until mid August, but season runs from September-mid November.
