Resonance Center for Women
Our mansion provides a warm, home-like environment for clients and staff.

Resonance is looking for women volunteers to join our mentoring program for (non-violent) offenders at Turley Residential Center (about 8 miles north of Tulsa) on Tuesday evenings, twice a month in a group setting. Our reentry service helps non-violent offenders before and after they release, reintegrate into the Tulsa community. You can help by encouraging these women to think positively and by teaching them how to make better decisions. It is our goal to help troubled women change for good! As these women change, their families and our community changes. Come be a positive role model and truly make a difference in someone's life! Lots of fun activities that encourage bonding and community engagement. This requires a one-year commitment with a flexible start date!

Mission Statement

Resonance promotes and supports the well-being and self-sufficiency of women and their families challenged by their experience with the criminal justice system.

Description

Since 1977, Resonance has been a special place for women... a place where hope and motivation replace shame as women learn to manage their addictions and create a new life for themselves and their children. Through outpatient substance abuse services, case management, reentry services and employment readiness, we are helping women who are challenged by the criminal justice system become self-sufficient. It is our goal to help troubled women change... for good. As these women change, their families change and our communities change.
