Many low income families in Broward County living in substandard conditions are now having the opportunity of owning a decent affordable home by partnering with Habitat for Humanity of Broward, but there are many more that need help. You can volunteer at our ReStore and make a difference for them!
The Restore Is a discount retail outlet that sells new or gently used furniture, appliances, housewares and building materials that have been donated by generous members of our community, and all the proceeds provide a source of funds for building homes, communities and hope for families in need.
By phone volunteering at the Restore you will have the opportunity to be the friendly voice that provides information to our customers and donors and make the donation process as simple and effective as possible, scheduling pickups and making confirmation calls. Phone volunteers play an essential role making it possible for more donations to be received which directly reflects in more opportunities for families to build a better future.
The Restore, is located at 505 West Broward Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale and this opportunity is available Monday - Saturday between 10:00am and 6:00pm. Shifts are flexible, we schedule depending on your availability.

- Empower partner families through education, resources and support to successfully achieve their personal, academic and professional goals
- Teach the youth of future homeowner families the skills and attitudes needed to make better life choices and break the intergenerational cycle of poverty
- Increase awareness and educate the community regarding issues related to the affordable housing crisis and what they can do to help
- Pursue green building certification for Habitat Broward homes in order to make our design more sustainable and eco-friendly
- Revitalize and strengthen the community by building affordable homes throughout Broward County.
