Mobile Adoption volunteers accompany our mobile adoption units to various locations in the community to assist with animal adoptions and spreading awareness about BHS and general animal welfare. We have a mobile adoption unit that goes to a variety of places on Saturdays and Sundays; additional days and times vary.

The Butte Humane Society is a non-profit animal shelter that is dedicated to caring for homeless animals and decreasing the number of unwanted births through educational programs and spay/neuter services. We are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals through the implementation of federal, state and local laws. We provide for and promote the humane care, treatment and well-being of all living things through education and information. Our programs and services are designed to mutually benefit the animals and people of Chico.
