Are you bored of just hanging out at the mall with your friends? Do you wonder who works two desks away from you at work? Is your church looking for a new cause to support? Are you looking to do something different while making friends and a difference in your community?
Do we have the Opportunity for you!
The Habitat for Humanity Fox Valley ReStore is looking to host groups of volunteers on the weekends for special projects that typically aren't able to be covered during the weekdays.
We can accommodate groups from 5-20 people for 2-4 hours at a time.
Our to-do list is always changing and somethings, like gardening, are a constant upkeep task.
A small sampling of current tasks include:
? PAINTING
? Gardening
? Handy work/ Repair
? Large ReStore ReOrganizing
Needed tasks change frequently but there’s always plenty to do at ReStore.
If interested in setting up a group, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator for details and scheduling.
Show winter that it can't stop you from doing something fun and making new friends, all while giving back to the communities in which you live!
Our mission is to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity by selling donated building materials and furniture to the general public. The profits from these sold items go directly to support the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity in its mission to build affordable and safe housing for those who lack adequate shelter.
The ReStore prides itself on creating a great work environment for volunteers. Volunteers aged 16 and 17 need parent permission via a signature on a waiver form. Sorry, but we don't allow persons less than 16 years of age to volunteer with us. Waivers are available on our website, www.foxvalleyrestore.org, or at the store.
We would like you to dress appropriately for our retail environment. We recommend wearing clothing you don't mind getting dirty i.e old jeans, t-shirt, and closed-toe shoes are a must!

Mission Statement
The Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore works to raise funds for the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity. We take donations from individuals and businesses and resell them at affordable prices to the general public. This allows people to buy essential and nice housing supplies, such as furniture and building supplies, while also decreasing the amount of material sent to the landfill. All net proceeds from the ReStore are given to the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity chapter to build homes for our neighbors in need.

DONATE: Enjoy that "difference maker" feeling. Feel wonderful when you donate to the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore because you're helping families in need, most of whom live right here in your own neighborhood.
SHOP: With friendly staff, over 20,000 square feet of space and a daily changing stock of every home improvement item you can imagine, you'll buy tons more for loads less at the ReStore
VOLUNTEER: You can put your time and talents to work for a meaningful cause, and have fun in the process! There's no feeling quite like helping your neighbors.
