Come to our beautiful preserve and join our family of committed staff and volunteers. Being a small staff Sweetbriar needs people to help with animal care, in our wonderful butterfly house, as a receptionist, and with specical events.

Sweetbriar Nature Center is a not for profit organizatin whose mission is to provide nature education and wildlife rehabilitation to the surrounding communities.
Description
Sweetbriar Nature Center is situated on a 55 acre nature preserve located in Smithtown on Long Island, NY. We have over 50 resident non-releasable animals, a enclosed butterfly gardens, a series of woodland, field, and river trails, formal gardens, and a nature center and museum open to the public daily throughout the year.
