Share the enjoyment of movement, participation and performance with the community. Provide your guidance and experience for programming, marketing and development. Jane Franklin Dance crosses disciplines in partnership with music, media, visual artists and community participants.
Description
The Arlington based Company offers ongoing programs for older adults, performances for children,dance education and collaborations blending movement with spoken word, theatre and visual arts. * Movement workshops are implemented year round for children, older adults, or specific populations. Performances often incorporate community participation, ranging from individuals whose audio interviews are integrated into the sound score, to onstage appearances.

- Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of every other month(September through July), from 7 to 8:00 p.m. by video call.
- Make an annual financial contribution of at least $100. Serve on at least one committee. Attendance and participation is expected at all Board meetings. Attendance is expected at least one performance per run and for fundraising events.
