Colony Cats has adoptable cats & kittens located inside Pet Supplies Plus store (W. Broad & Wilson Rd. location). We are currently seeking an adult volunteer to clean, feed, water & socialize/play with the cats on a weekly basis on Tuesdays. The time commitment is 45 to 60 minutes per visit each week and you can go any time during store hours on your scheduled day. The store is currently closing at 7 PM so you would have to be finished by 7 PM. If you work or live in this area, love cats and have up to an hour each week to help out homeless cats, please contact us. Training will be provided. Excellent opportunity for a youth and parent team. When emailing us please indicate you are interested in our Pet Supplies Plus (west side) as we have several off-site locations.

Mission Statement
Colony Cats is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose primary mission is to address cat overpopulation in central Ohio through public awareness and spay/neuter efforts. Since 2002, our organization has facilitated spay or neuter of over 7,000, homeless, owned and feral animals.
Specialized help for feral, stray and abandoned cats is a core element of our programs. We assist compassionate caregivers who are feeding and watching over homeless cats by providing TNR (trap-neuter-return) and other support services including food, shelter, vaccines and additional vet care for injuries/illness, as well as educational resources.
Description
We are a non-profit, all volunteer organization, dedicated to helping manage feral cat colonies through our trap-neuter-return program. We also assist pet owners with financial difficulties receive medical care for their pets (spaying/neutering, vaccines, and other health issues). Another large part of our organization is rescuing cats/kittens, dog/puppies in crisis, offering them sanctuary and rehabilitation in our foster homes and adoption center. Animals that are being abandoned and discarded now have a second chance to find loving, forever homes in a safe, no-kill environment.
