Volunteers are essential to Habitat for Humanity Fresno County's mission! Volunteer ReStore Assistants help ensure every volunteer has a positive experience making a difference in our community.
The volunteer assistant serves as the point person for other volunteers at the ReStore! As a point person, the volunteer assistant assists in greeting, facilitating check-in/check-out procedures, providing orientation information, collecting surveys and ensuring volunteers have a positive experience. The volunteer assistant will receive training for specific tasks and will work closely with the volunteer department.
Other tasks include sharing volunteer information with interested customers and visitors, maintaining copies of job descriptions, volunteer paperwork and assisting volunteers in scheduling their shifts.
This is a great opportunity to engage volunteers, learn/practice recruitment strategies, and make a difference in mobilizing our community!
