Are you artistically inclined with a camera? Then we are looking for you. We are assigning volunteers to capture and catalog events, volunteers, and residents of FACETS through photographs. This is a great opportunity to build your portfoilo and meet new and interesting people.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Attending various events and photographing activity
* Photographing residents and volunteers as needed for marketing and communications publications
* Uploading and cataloging photos on shared company drive
* Creating photo galleries
* Optimizing photos for web, silhouetting and compositing images
* Preparing images for social media across social platforms (Twitter, FB, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.).

Mission Statement
FACETS opens doors by helping parents, their children, and individuals who suffer the effects of poverty - so often unnoticed - in Fairfax County. We meet their emergency shelter, food, and medical needs, help them gain safe, sustainable, and permanent housing, and work with them to end the cycle of homelessness and poverty through educational, life skills, and career counseling programs.
Description
FACETS envisions a day when everyone in Fairfax County has access to adequate and affordable housing and nobody is homeless. We seek to engage and educate our community in providing long-term solutions and resources to break the cycle of poverty for our neighbors in need.
