Want to have more meaning in your life? Do something that is satisfying and of great service to your community!
Intrepid USA is looking for passionate, caring volunteers to help with terminally ill patients in the greater Richmond and Petersburg area. You will visit with patients, providing them with companionship, and relief for family caregivers.
The only qualification required is your desire to help someone in need. You can make a difference in our patients' lives in as little as one hour a week. All you need to do to get started is sign up for our hospice volunteer training.

Description
Intrepid Hospice is not a place, but rather a philosophy of life. Like a butterfly our lives move through many different stages and as we take our journey we need the love and support of others. Our expert teams help make this journey one filled with care, compassion and dignity, where we provide palliative care to ease pain and discomforting symptoms. We provide nursing, hospice aides, spiritual and psychosocial support to patients and their loved ones, typically in their homes, assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
