About Avivo

Mission Statement

Avivo increases well-being through recovery, employment, and career advancement. Avivo is formerly known as RESOURCE.

Avivo, formerly RESOURCE, provides a full spectrum of chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services. Our paired services lay a foundation of health, and social and economic wellness, that transforms lives.

We specialize in helping individuals and their families who face complex barriers to success - poverty, homelessness, unemployment, chemical addiction or mental health concerns. Avivo helps more than 18,000 people each year achieve recovery, employment, and economic advancement.

Since 1960, Avivo (formerly RESOURCE) has helped individuals transform their lives, particularly people who face significant and multiple challenges to self-sufficiency. This includes poverty, racism, physical and mental health concerns, homelessness, substance abuse, little or no education, outdated work skills, limited English language skills, and more.

From its start as a vocational rehabilitation services provider in Minneapolis, Avivo now offers chemical and mental health services, career education, and employment services at 25 locations, in the Twin Cities metro, St. Cloud, and Princeton.
