Liberty Hospice is interested in partnering with individuals or a group who possess a certain skill or craft that can be shared with our patients, specifically in making things for comfort and support of our patients and families! I would love to talk more with you about how you or a group can serve our patients!

The mission of Liberty Home Care and Hospice is to provide cost effective, quality services that will achieve optimal outcomes. Our hospice services are provided in a cost effective manner by staff who value respect, honesty, loyalty, trust and determination.
Description
Volunteers are the backbone of the hospice program. They are trained prior to working with patients, and their supervision continues after their formal training ends. These individuals give willingly of themselves to enhance the quality of life for hospice patients and their families. Volunteers are recruited, trained and placed with patients by the volunteer coordinator. Volunteers are great people with a real commitment to service. They are essential to the success of the hospice program.
Different ways in which a volunteer can provide love and care to Liberty Hospice patients and families are sitting with the patient, talking to the patient, completing life review, playing music and singing, reading, crafts, hosting a birthday party for the patient, and much more! New ideas are always welcomed.
Training is provided online or in-office, based on your preference.
