Perspectives is a nonprofit organization that offers a number of programs helping recovering and homeless women with children. Our Summer Explorers Program needs volunteers that enjoy working with kids in the classroom or outdoors. Volunteers take part in activities such as reading with children, playing and teaching sports, visiting nature centers, going to the water park, and taking field trips. We are in need of Summer Explorer volunteers from June-August of 2017, Monday-Friday from 8am-11:30am and/or 11:30am-3:00pm. The morning shift is in the classroom setting and the afternoon shift is mainly outdoors at the park or pool in St. Louis Park. We ask that our volunteers give a minimum of 3.5 hours per week for the 9 weeks that we are in session.
