SOAR Fox Cities is seeking a student in human services, psychology, social work or related field to complete an internship at SOAR Fox Cities.
The SOAR Program Internship is a hands-on learning experience working with youth and adults with developmental disabilities. The Intern will assist the program directors/coordinators with social, recreational and educational programs, support groups, family programs, advocacy groups and community education.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Plan, coordinate, assist with and participate in SOAR programs which may include Adult Social and Recreational, Adult Education, TnT (Ages 13-23), Family, Advocacy, and Community Outreach
- Prepare materials and activities for programs
- Assist agency with office duties and data entry
- Assist with community and fundraising events
- Maintain a safe environment for all participants
