Nature Abounds is a 501c3 national environmental nonprofit organization, and we're looking for help securing funding for our current and future programs.

Reports to: Nature Abounds President

Time requirement: 5 or more hours per week, depending on specific grants and requirements of those grants

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in successful grant writing
• Basic understanding of nonprofit operation and funding concerns
• Understanding of Nature Abounds and our programs
• Strong organizational skills a must
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Excellent "people" skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and submit grant proposals
• Perform grant research as needed
• As appropriate, contact funders with questions or to follow-up on submitted proposals.
• Track proposals
• If needed, manage a team of grant writers and researchers.
