ORGANIZATION: Haverford Township Adult School

HTAS is seeking an instructor(s) for beginning and intermediate Spanish Conversation classes and a beginning French Conversation at independent community non-profit adult school.

The classes meet weekly once a week evenings for an 8 week session. Each class runs 75 - 90 minutes.

Compensation may be provided.

Class description:

This course provides students with a general understanding
of basic conversational skills. Students
learn basic grammar, simple expressions, everyday vocabulary
and the correct spelling and pronunciation that
enable them to reinforce and increase their conversational skills in a foreign language.

While our primary focus is on residents of Haverford Township, adults from all communities are welcome. The Adult School strives to offer programs that enrich personal and professional development, as well as a sense of community spirit and participation.

Description

Haverford Township adult school is an independent, non-profit organization. Course fees and donations provide our sole source of income to cover faculty compensation, facility charges, production and mailing of brochure and all other operating expenses. We ARE NOT supported by any tax revenues. HTAS DEPENDS ON VOLUNTEERS to keep overhead low and class tuition very affordable. HTAS offers Fall and Spring semester classes. Most classes take place in the Haverford Township High school and Middle School buildings but we are independent from the public school district.
