Painting a home exterior is no easy task. It doesn't make for a relaxing weekend and there's a pretty good chance you'll get paint in your hair. But when you witness the exact moment a senior believes in miracles again, you'll probably want to leave your painted hair alone and just to savor the moment. Armed with a paint brush and smile, Paint-A-Thon volunteers have been painting home exteriors every year in August since 1984, keeping low-income senior and disabled homeowners right where they want to be - independent and at home. Thousands of volunteers have shared our vision over the years and have discovered just how rewarding it is to transform a house back to a home, adding a little color to someone's life with both their paint brush and their presence. We invite you to share that experience with your friends and colleagues, and most importantly, with someone in need. Team Registrations are due June 1, 2017. Paint Weekend is August 5 & 6.
