Our group posts dogs & cats in the Southern CA in shelters, in urgent need of homes, on national adoption websites and social media site. We need volunteers to start immediately posting or removing these animals. These are online volunteer opportunities.

As a volunteer, you should meet the following requirements:

1. Feel comfortable cutting, pasting and working online in websites, including having 2 windows open simultaneously.

2. Follow written instructions

3. Be able to volunteer your time as follows:

A. POSTING VOLUNTEER: Be able to post every OTHER day, for approximately 30-45 minutes. Length of this commitment: 6 months (or more if you wish). We currently have openings to post either cats or dogs, your choice.

B. We also need volunteers to keep the available pet list current. This position is about 30-45 minutes per day twice per week.

C. We also need volunteers to post on an as needed basis to fill in for volunteers that are out on vacation and update existing postings when needed with updated photos, comments, videos (must have Facebook access to capture additional photos and videos and feel comfortable navigating FB). This is about 1 hour, once or twice a week and works best for someone who is flexible in their schedule.

If you would like to help our group save shelter pets from the comfort of your home, enjoy working on the computer (and feel comfortable doing so), then we need you if the above time commitments fit your schedule.

As we post for a kill shelter, these animals are extremely time sensitive and rely on our volunteers to post them. We help give them a chance finding an adoptive home. It is a an important volunteer opportunity that requires self discipline to insure you keep on schedule. We respectfully ask before you respond, you are confident you are willing to commit to our cause for at least 6 months, and the time commitments for each opportunity above will work with your career and personal schedules.
