The Elizabeth Hospice has created a Veterans Caring for Veterans volunteer program to recruit and train Veterans to assist other Veterans facing the challenges of serious illness.
A unique curriculum for Veterans to be trained as hospice volunteers was developed which includes hospice training, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Vet-To-Vet training. Volunteers will visit Veterans in their community.
Veterans are encouraged to contact our Volunteer Department to learn more about how you can help your fellow veterans. Please call us today at (800) 797-2050.

The mission of The Elizabeth Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for those nearing the end of life's journey and for those who grieve.
The Elizabeth Hospice, a nonprofit healthcare leader, has been providing comfort and counsel to children and adults who are facing life’s most difficult challenge, and restoring hope to grieving children and adults who are feeling lost and alone. Since 1978, we have touched the lives of more than 100,000 people in the communities we serve, offering medical, emotional and spiritual support, regardless of the patient’s affiliation or ability to pay.
The Elizabeth Hospice is accredited by The Joint Commission and is affiliated with the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
We'll work with your schedule.
