Dream On Education is a Chicago based, 501(c)3, aimed to prepare high-performing, low-income 6th to 8th grade students for the rigor of high school, college and beyond through scholastic development, mentoring, and career and cultural exposure.

Our mission is to prepare high-performing, low-income 6th-8th grade students for the rigor of a high school and college curriculum and challenge them beyond their comfort level. Please see additional information about our organization on our website: www.dreamoneducation.org.

Dream On Education is actively recruiting new Board Members. It's important that the Board Members are, first and foremost, passionate about our mission and the work that we're doing. It is also important that they're well-connected and open to tapping into their network to grow support of the organization. Simply put, Board Members should be reliable, committed, an active worker on Dream On's behalf, and a true champion of the organization.

Must have at least 25 years of professional experience to be considered. There is a financial commitment to join and there's also an expectation for each board member to fundraise, which is negotiable. We're looking for Board Members who can add value and lend their expertise to our organization. We're looking for board members in the following areas: Public Relations, Business Development, Accounting, Community Leadership, Fundraising, Grant-writing, Human Resources, Entertainment, Art, Media, Creative Direction, and Law. ***Must submit resume. Submissions without a resume will not be considered.***
