Spay and Neuter Kansas City's Families Better Together community outreach program offers a Pet Food Pantry twice a month (one Saturday and one Monday, both from 2pm to 3:30pm). Our Pet Food Pantry program provides basic pet supplies and pet food to pet owners in need in our community. All participants of our Pet Food Pantry are members of low-income households.

Pet Food Pantry volunteers will help check clients into our Pet Food Pantry and assist with preparing and distributing pantry donations to clients. This is a great, direct way to help those in your community!

Mission Statement

Our mission is to decrease pet homelessness, increase pet retention, and improve the quality of life for pets through education and supportive services for families in need.

Pet Resource Center of Kansas City is a 501c3 non-profit organization formed in 2002 and is the only targeted spay neuter program in the Greater Kansas City area working to help all families in need regardless of financial means.
