We couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers! Become a part of our Hospice Compassus Volunteer Family and make a difference in the lives of people when they need it the most. Our volunteers provide the much needed comfort and support to our patients and their families in difficult times.
There are many ways you can help:
Visit our patients and offer companionship, provide respite care for our patients caregivers, offer practical assistance running errands, doing light housework and odd jobs. Work behind the scenes to offer administrative support, help with events and fundraising. Our schedules are completely flexible, we work with you, when you have the time to give.
Do you have a skill or talent to share? Hairdressing, Gardening, Crafting, Musical, DIY. Student volunteers find many opportunities to gain valuable experience while meeting their school’s requirements. We would love to hear from you and match your skills to the needs of families in our care.

Pet Therapy
Music Therapy
You will receive detailed hospice volunteer training and team building support from our staff who also coordinates all volunteer activities. Direct patient volunteers are required to have a two-step TB Screening.

At Hospice Compassus we want to provide your loved one all the care and support necessary to live each day to the fullest. However, our care does not stop with your loved one. We care about you, the caregiver, too. We are here for you every step of your journey.
Grief Support
At Hospice Compassus we are not only here for your loved one, but we want to provide support to the whole family that extends beyond the passing of your loved one. We care about the physical, spiritual, and emotional health of our families that have experienced loss. It is with this in mind that our Bereavement support is here for you.
