Musician volunteering for Musicians On Call's Virtual Bedside Performance Program

Musicians On Call’s Volunteer Musicians deliver the healing power of music through participation in MOC’s Bedside Performance Program. In Denver, MOC’s operates their Virtual Bedside Performance Program, where a musician performs from a studio within the hospital where the performance is broadcast to patient rooms through Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) or from a MOC office where the performance is transmitted to patients at various healthcare facilities through Google Hangouts or a similar interactive video calling service. Musicians will play a 30-45 minute set of approved hospital songs. Volunteer musicians will submit a setlist of songs for approval one week prior to their scheduled performance at the hospital.
Volunteer Musicians must complete MOC’s orientation process, which includes an application, interview, handbook, orientation, quiz, background check and confidentiality agreement.Musician applicants must also submit a sample of their music prior to acceptance into the program.
MOC's requires all volunteers to commit to volunteering once a month for at least one year.
