Smith Center is a nonprofit health, education, and arts organization with a mission to develop and promote healing practices that explore physical, emotional, and mental resources that lead to life-affirming changes for people affected by cancer and other serious illnesses.
We are looking for a(n) Cancer Support Program Logistics Volunteer for our beautiful and growing non-profit who will enthusiastically support the Cancer Support Programs team. This volunteer will assist in coordinating Cancer Support Programs and Workshops at Smith Center for Healing and the Arts. The Cancer Support Program Logistics Volunteer will participate in an orientation/training and will report to the Cancer Support Program Director .
Time Commitment:
* Available 15-20 hours per week
Duties:
* Welcome program participants, answer general inquiries about programs and workshops offered, keep track of program registration, attendence and evaluations. Help track registration donations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Experience applying administrative skills in a professional environment. Highly organized and people oriented. Great verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable with Microsoft Word, Excel and Mac. Self-starter with a sense of initiative and responsibility. Friendly, outgoing & positive attitude. Dedication to the work, mission and values of Smith Center.
