ORGANIZATION: Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes

Dining Area volunteers are the backbone of our lunch program at Pajaro Valley Loaves and Fishes! We serve 100-150 individuals in our community a homemade, nutritious meal every Monday-Friday. Behind the scenes tasks ensure that our organization runs smoothly and effectivley.We strive to keep the dining area a comforatable and enjoyable space for our clients and our organization. Help us keep it clean and sparkling!

Tasks include setting up and cleaning up our outside dining area, maintaining landscaping, working on facilities repairs, and receiving and stocking our bi-weekly food orders.

Volunteer commitment is flexible, ranging from 1-15 hrs per week.

Shifts are Mon-Fri (8:00-11:00) or (1pm-4pm)

Founded in 1989, Loaves and Fishes is a community-based organization dedicated to alleviating hunger among working low-income families, farmworkers, and elderly, disabled, and homeless individuals of the Pajaro Valley. We help sustain the lives of thousands of individuals by assisting them with nutritious food, education, and referrals in cooperation with other agencies. We envision a Pajaro Valley community in which all people have access to healthy food and the other necessities of life. We are committed to working collaboratively to develop a healthier, more food-secure community through direct service and advocacy.
