About

Can you lend a listening ear, words of support, and information and referrals to people in need? Trained Volunteer Advocates are an important point of contact for victims in crisis, serving on HCWC's 24-hour hotline and responding to sexual assault victims at the hospital. Advocate Training is currently offered three times a year and is required for all volunteers who want to work in direct-service positions! The 38-hour training is an opportunity for you to learn new skills, such as crisis intervention and information on sexual assault, family violence and child abuse.

Fall training starts August 31, 2015
