The Greeter is in charge of checking in clients and accepting donations.
Check-in existing clients: §
Welcome them and have them fill out sign-in form and return it back to you.
Make name tag using only first name and last name initial (in marker, no pen)
Ask client to be seated, enjoy their meal and let them know someone will be with them shortly
Pull client’s file from filing cabinet, place it in the order by time of arrival and have ready for life coaches
Check-in new clients: §
Welcome them and have them fill out intake sheet and sign-in form and return them back to you § Make name tag using only first name and last name initial (in marker, no pen)
Ask client to be seated, enjoy their meal and let them know someone will be with them shortly § Make new file folder - Blank folders are on back side of 4 drawer file cabinet o Write client’s name on folder o Attach pink sticker which indicates client is new in 2015 § Place new client folder in designated area and by time of arrival for it to be available for life coaches Accept donations:
Graciously accept and thank donor(s)
Have donor sign in providing their contact information and give receipt if requested
All new donations are to be placed inside the food pantry

Description
Kids In Crisis-Intervention Team (KIC-IT) is a non profit organization that seeks to help the youth of Johnson County, ages 16-25, who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. The KIC-IT drop in center provides emergency food, hygeine items, rent/utility assistance, staffing/food pantry/mental health referrals, and much needed one on one counseling from trained life coaches. The drop in center is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6:30 and a hot meal is provided each day for anyone who wants to come in.
