Pickup perishable items from various markets between 8 AM and 8:30 AM and deliver to PV Emergency Food Bank at 10862 N 32nd St. Must have your own properly insured large size vehicle and be able to load and unload donations unassisted that may weigh in total in excess of 500 pounds. This is an extremely challenging physical position. Please tell us about yourself and your previous volunteer experience. Orientation will be offered. There is no reimbursement.

Mission Statement

To provide emergency food assistance to residents of the Paradise Valley Unified School District.


PVEFB stands for Paradise Valley Emergency Food Bank. It is a food pantry formed from existing organizations in the Paradise Valley area to aid the community's hungry.

The PVEFB's main objective is to provide emergency assistance to individuals living within the boundaries of the Paradise Valley Unified School District. PVEFB distributes food to families that would otherwise go hungry. The emergency provisions provide wholesome, nourishing meals to families in need. They bridge the gap until a long-term solution can be arranged.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Friday, 2 hours from about 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM
  • Vehicle and ability to lift perishable groceries.
