This volunteer would be need to be located within 25 miles of Scottsboro to provide in home virtual visits with a patient and their family through a hand held device such as an iphone, tablet, android or laptop.
The volunteer would be in the home with their device to help them connect with a friend or family member in another location.
All training must be completed in the office

Description
Our volunteers are vitally important to our hospice program. Volunteers provide emotional support to our patients and families during the very important last chapter of our patients' lives. Some volunteers continue their support to the bereaved following the death of a patient. Volunteer Services are delivered directly to the patient in the home or in the office by supporting our hospice program administratively. Some volunteers even serve in a capacity from their own homes! Volunteer interaction is so very valuable to our patients and families, but is just as rewarding to our volunteers, who consider it an honor to work with them.
