During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Youth Outlook's marketing and outreach needs have shifted dramatically with technological changes and the growth of Pride and LGBTQ+ visibility projects around our service area. To meet the changing needs, we are establishing teams of volunteer professionals and support people to work closely with our agency and development team.
The goals of the team will include increasing the visibility of our drop-in centers for LGBTQ+ youth and other services, participate in the planning functions and representation of the agency at Pride and outreach events, assist with the development of print, electronic,, and promotional materials, and more.
Volunteers that have an expertise in writing, social media, marketing, photography, videography, graphic design, research, data entry, event planning, community outreach, public speaking, artisans, and other skill-based training are needed and encouraged to join a team.
When opportunities or projects arise, the volunteer team will receive notification and details via email. Volunteers will be able to choose which projects they would like to assist with based on their availability and other factors.
Help us keep growing! Occasional in-person meetings may be necessary. Some work may be done virtually.
