Camp Boggy Creek is a nonprofit camp for children with chronic serious illnesses in Eustis, FL.
Our programs create opportunities for children with serious illnesses and their families to reach beyond illness and discover joy, confidence and a new world of possibilities, always free of charge.
As one of our campers, Hailey said:
"It’s not about the activities, it’s about the people. You can be friends with anyone at camp without fear of being judged unfairly.
It’s more than just a place to have fun. It’s an island where the world is a nicer place."
The Challenge Ride is a 15, 40, and 60 mile cycling fundraising event. Where over 400 cyclists will ride in support of Camp Boggy Creek. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, such as - registration support, parking, on route SAG / water stop support, finish line assistance, EMT, etc.
We would love if you can stay all day - but for your convenience we have set up the times when we need your help. There are several areas other than actual camp property that will need to be staffed with volunteers as well.

Camp Boggy Creek makes it possible for children with serious illnesses and their families to experience a free, life-changing camp where safety, respect, love, and joy come together to enrich their physical and behavioral health.
Description
Camp Boggy Creek is a year round medical camping facility for children, ages 7-16, who have chronic or serious illnesses. We are part of the SeriousFun Children's Network, founded by the late actor Paul Newman. We serve over 13 different illness groups including heart disease, HIV, sickle cell anemia, and cancer. The children who come to our camp come absolutely free of charge along with our volunteers. We are a not-for-profit organization, which depends entirely on the monetary generosity of others, as well as on the volunteer man-power to help make this experience happen for these children.
Our programs allow our kids to experience fun, adventure, and independence: catching their first fish, shooting a bow and arrow, or climbing the "tower" while helping them to create some incredible memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
