About

In this role, the primary responsibility is to assist with the implantation of HR strategies. This role will work directly the HR Director and HR Coordinator, and Coordinator to support by planning and coordinating of the Human Resources department administrative activities to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implantation of organization strategies identified by HR management

  • Supports the HR Coordinator by scheduling interviews, background checks, assisting with developing policies and procedures.

  • Assist in communication between Atlanta Public Schools (APS) and Passion for life in regards to intern on boarding process

  • Assist in managing and posting all positions for the organization and complete initial interviewing of qualified candidates

  • Assist in tracking attendance for direct service interns

  • Process, organize, track and maintain files, records and data

Education Requirment:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Human Services or Nonprofit Management

  • Must be classified as a Junior or Senior or a graduate student

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects

  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, etc).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent decisions.

  • Ability to maintain highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
