Primary responsibility is to be a hands-on representative of the Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic Human Resources functions. This role is to also assist in developing recruitment strategy, and manage the recruitment process.


  • Assist in developing organization HR strategies
  • Act as liaison between Atlanta Public Schools (APS) and Passion for life
  • Manage and post all positions for the organization and complete initial interviewing of qualified candidates
  • Extending job offers to candidates and/or rejection decisions
  • Complete administrative duties as directed by management
  • Main point of contact for all HR matters and act as liaison between staff and management for means of communication

Education Requirment:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Nonprofit Management
  • Graduate student

Skills required:

  • Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple ongoing projects.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to maintain highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism
