Red Bucket Equine Rescue, located in Chino Hills, CA is currently looking for an Assistant Groom. Our mission is to save, rehabilitate, and restore our horses’ trust in human kind and find them safe, loving, forever adoptive homes.
An ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and values, is a high achiever and is a strong equestrian and rider. 98% of our Red Bucket Staff are volunteers.
We are currently looking for volunteers that have strong horse experience. We have an important role that needs to be filled during the week. We are flexible with scheduling day and time but we are looking for a weekly commitment.
Position Details:
- Fulltime or part time volunteer positions are available
- Training will be provided
- Reports to Head Trainer
- Days needed: Monday - Sunday
- Time:
- 9am to 1pm
- 1pm to 5pm
- 9am to 5pm

Red Bucket is a 100-plus horse rescue located in Chino Hills, CA. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to saving and completely turning around the lives of slaughter-bound, abused, abandoned and neglected horses. We are staffed by dedicated horse enthusiasts, trainers, veterinarians, and hundreds of volunteers and supported by contributors whose kindness toward these beautiful, amazing animals is rewarded with love beyond measure.
